The New version of OfficeScan, now available, comes in two separate editions:
1.OfficeScan Client Edition: Providing AV, anti-spyware and firewall protection to networked Windows based clients.
2.OfficeScan Client/Server Edition: Providing AV, anti-spyware and firewall protection to networked Windows based client and server platforms (Included as a sub-component in Enterprise Client/Server Suite EE)

OfficeScan Client / Server Edition

Trend Micro OfficeScan Client/Server Edition is an integrated client/server security solution that protects enterprise networks from viruses, Trojans, worms, hackers, and network viruses, plus spyware and mixed threat attacks. It guards network endpoints, including desktops, laptops, and network servers, while the Web-based management console makes it easy to set coordinated security policy and deploy automatic updates on every client and server.
By integrating with Trend Micro Network VirusWall or any Network Admission Control (NAC) device, OfficeScan can enforce policy on non-compliant computers, and then remedy, redirect, restrict, deny, or permit network access.
With optional Trend Micro Outbreak Prevention Services, OfficeScan can prevent or contain outbreaks-before pattern files are available. And with optional Trend Micro Damage Cleanup Services, it cleans the entire network of viruses, spyware, and their remnants.

Upgrades / Current users

Although the price of Officescan Client Edition and Client/Server Edition will be higher
than that of previous Officescan Corporate Edition, existing customers will not be charged for the upgrade. Existing Activation codes for OS v6.5 can be entered straight onto the new OS v7
